We believe it is our responsibility as people of God, people who care, to follow the "least of these" model Jesus provided in Matthew 25:35 that tells us to feed the hungry, give the thirsty water, shelter strangers, clothe the naked, visit the sick, and go to the prisoner. This center will be a place where that biblical model becomes a practical reality for those who need it. The Greater Victory Equipping/Resource (ER) Center combines three oversized modular classrooms to create a much-needed resource center primarily for the residents of the Promise Neighborhood but also for the members of the Lancaster metropolitan area. With the healthy community vision aligning our own, we are looking to create an equipping center that becomes the heartbeat of growth and development for the most challenged area of the community. This center will be a resource this community can call its own, where we will not only provide fish for the neediest, but it will be a place where they learn to fish. Community members, churches, community service agencies, educators, businesses, etc. will have an opportunity to invest and build together with the measure of success determined by the growth and development of those receiving the benefits.
